WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Warehouse operatives play a key role in ensuring the accurate control of the movement of components in and out of the warehouse. Focussed on timely and precise dispatching of product to the customer within the timeframe committed by Boneham Metal Products.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Receiving product and material into the warehouse
  • The accurate stocking of parts into warehouse locations
  • Timely pulling of inventory from warehouse locations for customer orders
  • Blue tipping of dowels for customer requirement
  • The collation of parts for dispatch
  • Checking, labelling and processing of orders for dispatch utilizing the UPS system
  • Use of the laser etcher to part mark for customer requirement
  • Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
  • Ensure safe use of the forklift and maintain certification
  • Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
  • Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
  • Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value
  • Other duties as assigned

Production Operative

Ensures the accurate and timely manufacture of precision drill bushings in line with the company’s quality and service standards. Utilises equipment at hand to deliver a solution to the customer within the committed timeframe to the quality expected from the Boneham organisation.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Pull parts for modification as detailed in shop order documentation
  • Operate specialty machinery to modify or manufacture precision components inline with the companies catalog and customer specials
  • Maintain and monitor machine to make sure it functions properly
  • Understanding of how the operated machine works
  • Conduct in process quality checks in line with stage inspection criteria
  • Be responsible for completed operations through sign off by the Operations Manager
  • Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production
  • Monitor and replenish tooling, raw materials and consumables
  • Highlight deviations / errors / discrepancies in work instructions
  • Record setup and run times through to completion to accurately record cost of manufacture and enable educated quoting and continuous improvement.
  • Adhere at all times to company PPE requirements
  • Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
  • Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value
  • Other duties as assigned

Key Account Lead

The Key Account Lead is key to our customers success. Excellent customer understanding and service is what we always strive for. This makes the key account lead a pivotal role in delivering our vision. The KAL will manage orderbooks for key accounts, build longstanding relationships, problem solve and proactively deliver beyond expectation.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Understand key customers and their key contacts. Recognize the key drivers to their success and ensure Boneham aligns with those needs.
  • Orderbook ownership, progression and management. Ensuring adherence to OTIF targets.
  • Maintain all customer data, profiles and expectations of key accounts through feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Managing customer delivery expectations, to ensure a positive outcome for both parties
  • Liaising with outside sales representatives to better serve our distributors to grow their business
  • Compiling reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts and issue to stakeholders
  • Researching prospective and existing clients for a better understanding of their needs
  • Monitoring key performance indicators of sales and marketing campaigns and creating comprehensive reports to improve results
  • Generating and following-up business leads
  • Key account quote follow-up

The Person:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft 365 packages, especially Excel
  • Great eye for detail
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Customer focused – ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
