Metric Diamond Groove Drill Bushings – DGM
Metric Diamond Groove Drill Bushings are fully diamond knurled and known as DGM Type Bushings. The ‘DGM Type’ drill bushing is designed to be cast-in to the fixture or mold. Popular in the resin and composite industries. Composite resin runs through the grooves to lock the bushing in place. The combination of the groove(s) and the diamond knurling form a strong resistance to axial and rotational movement. Serrated or diamond knurled bushings do not feature a ground outside diameter, whilst this makes them more economical, the bushing must be accurately located using the bore. Alignment pins can be used where appropriate in a fixture.
The Diamond Groove drill bushing is available in 11 different OD sizes as standard. These range from 5mm to 26mm. There is a choice of 9 standard drill bushing lengths. These vary depending on the OD size and range from 6mm to 36mm. All bushings are hardened to 60-65 HRC for maximum life.
