Nitrided Bushings

For longer life requirements, all bushings, USA Standards and British standard bushings, are available in nitrided material. BONEHAM NITRALLOY bushings are seen as a direct alternative to expensive carbide bushings. 

Customers choose Boneham Nitralloy because:

• Surface hardness of RC 67-69 with a 0.012″ case depth
• The 32-34 RC core ‘softness’ of Nitralloy makes it one of the safest bushing materials available. Unlike carbide drill bushings, Nitralloy resists the tendency to shatter. The Boneham Nitralloy process gives the bushing incredible shock absorption from cuts, crashes, abuse or drop.
• Nitralloy can withstand high operating temperatures where standard bushings may lose integrity.
• The excellent lubricity and anti-galling properties of Nitralloy make it the ideal bushing to use with carbide tooling.

To order Nitralloy drill bushings, add the prefix letter “N” to the ANSI/Boneham bushing symbol of the drill bushing you require (example: NSF-32-8, ¼” I.D.). Please call or fax (toll free) our sales service representatives for a quotation on those bushings you require to be made in Nitralloy.
