Boneham Nylon Dowel Pins are manufactured to locate in bushings. Nylon Dowel Pins are primarily for the composite mold tooling process. Nylon Dowel Pins can be easily destroyed when compared to steel dowel pins, which ensures complex mold forms are not damaged. It is therefore considered that the use of these nylon dowel pins will significantly reduce mold scrap rates.
Manufactured from Nylon 66 (6.6), nylon dowels have a wide temperature range of -40F to 158F. Furthermore, they have good chemical and abrasive qualities.
